Almost every day the media relates stories of gambling problems from loss of employment, embezzeling, bankruptcy, loss of family, etc. I am a recovering compulsive gambler with more than 17 years of recovery. Ten years ago, I loaded a newsletter on line for women gamblers, Women Helping Women (http://femalegamblers.org) which is read by women around the world. Last year I published a book, Gripped by Gambling (http://grippedbygambling.com) describing my experience from the beginning of my gambling to a prison sentence and how I recovered. The book is being used as a reference book in some colleges and universities.
